Blind Man Creations

For nearly 20 years, I made my living behind the wheel. When failing eyesight meant I could no longer drive, that chapter of my life ended whether I was ready for it or not.

Woodworking started simply as something to keep my hands and mind busy. Somewhere along the way, it became something much bigger.

I'm legally blind and living with end-stage glaucoma, but I've learnt that losing one way of doing things doesn't mean you're finished. Sometimes you've just got to find another way.

Blind Man Creations grew from that.

From my workshop in Sunraysia, I create timber artwork, signs and custom pieces inspired by the Australian bush, rural life and the people and stories that go with it. Each piece is designed, carved and finished by me using traditional woodworking alongside modern CNC technology.

I don't chase factory-perfect work. Timber has knots, scars, grain and character — and I reckon people aren't much different.
