Blind Man Creations

Blind Man Creations began in August 2025, when I picked up a piece of timber with no big plan — just a need to build something real with my hands. Life had thrown a few punches, and I needed something solid to hold onto. What started as a way to keep busy quickly became something bigger: a craft, a purpose, and a reason to keep moving forward.

Living with end-stage glaucoma (which means my optic nerve is slowly deteriorating and my vision is severely limited) hasn’t been easy. There were days where giving up would’ve been the simplest option. But the workshop became my reset button — a place where progress is measured in millimetres, patience matters, and effort still counts for something. Working with timber taught me that broken things can still be shaped into something strong, useful, and worth keeping.
